My very favorite show as a kid was

Little House on the Prairie..

..and that was what he always called it..

but I digress..

Today was Prairie Day in 3rd grade..

Adi was so excited, she couldn't wait!!

{one can only hope it lived up to

her expectations..}

..and she looked pretty durn cute!!..

Look Ma! No Braces!

This is one excited little girl!

So excited, in fact, that she came down twice to tell me she was so excited she couldn't sleep!

Our orthodontist estimated she'd be in this "first phase" of braces for 9 months, and she was just under 7!

YAY for Adi!!

In other news,

today was the 6th grade Science Fair..

All I can really say,

is thank goodness it's over!

{not my favorite time of year}

Savannah did great,

and more importantly,

achieved her goal by NOT

advancing to Regionals!

Yay Savannah!

In fact, Chelsea's Prom junior year was at this same Barn..

Medical Adventures!

So yesterday,

while daddy was mauling her face..

{he does that}

daddy discovered a lump on Adi's left jawline..

The more I had time to stew about it,

I decided I needed to go get it looked at..

so, instead of going to church,

we went to the after hours doctor!

{woo-woo!}

{^^not the sound Adi made..}

I'm very glad I took her..

They sent her immediately to have blood work and an ultrasound..

They were sure it was a cyst

until the ultrasound showed it had blood flow..

Apparently it is a swollen lymph node..

Odd spot..

Larger than a pea..

The best part??

{read sarcasm}

Left the house: 1:00pm

Arrived home: 5:30pm

Couldn't help but snap a few pictures..

{have had some very traumatic experiences here..

suffice it to say, not happy}
