Davy has work meetings that start Monday (the 2nd) in Orlando.. About a week ago he decided that we should go together, a couple days early.. Well, as you can imagine in our house of the Disney-crazed, this did not go over well.. (but that comes later) As he was doing research on where we should stay, he made this PowerPoint and emailed it to me (I decided he has way too much time at work.. he swears he was in a boring meeting) Basically, he let me pick which resort we'd be staying at..
When the girlies got wind of this PowerPoint, they took matters into their own hands.. And made what I will call a "rebuttal PowerPoint"..
Now, I really wanted to post said PowerPoints, but I could not make them work (I've literally been trying all week)
So, I did the next best thing and tried to recreate them, so I could share them with my bloggy friends.. You must know, this was not as easy as I thought it would be.. In fact, it took me almost all day (when I should be packing.. getting house ready.. getting girls ready, etc.. I do leave tomorrow)
So, they are numbered so you can get some idea of each page of each presentation..
2 things you must know..
- The pictures from Davy's all came out tiny.. except one.. go figure.. So, don't judge his work on that.. But, the one from the girlies was beautiful and had lots of color, etc
- The photo on page 6 of the girlies show is the disaster in my basement.. We unloaded a storage closet/future bathroom.. and the mess is multiplying..
I guess thats all you need to know..

As you can see by the picture to the right, you two have ALREADY vacationed together to a good ol' place this year.. So no need to do it again.

Disney. For kids of ALL ages. For FAMILIES. Not for the mommy and daddy whose kids are sitting at home crying. If anything the kids should be at Disney World and the parents should be home.. Am I right or am I right?

IN CONCLUSION...
We, Chelsea Kate, Savannah Klaire, and Adi Kayde have made a very real decision.You should NOT go to Disney World UNLESS your are accompanied by your three wonderful daughters.

I think it sounds fun to go by yourselfs. Have a good time! I would have been mad at my parents if they went with out me too. Now that I am a parent I totally understand.
I have to say that I agree with both. BUT- you will be taking a huge family vacation with everyone in a few short weeks. Although, with Chels would she pick D-land or NY. Who could possibley be in the area of NY. Let me think.Hmmmmm-Oh that's right a certain someone!!!:)
War of the powerpoint- very fun. I will admit the girls do make some good points. I think once the initial shock wears off they and you will have a fabulous time! It's just a long weekend! Girls....if you need food, come on over!
Fun for you. Poor girls. Very convincing argument, if you ask me. Except for the part they left out about taking Wendy's sister and her family with you, too.
Forgot to mention. No need to take Wendy. She just got back from there.
That is too funny! Some advice for my brother though is to not add a picture of himself on his cell phone while he's trying to entice his wife off to vacation! :) Just a cute picture of himself smiling and paying attention to you would've been better. hahaha
hahaha..and isn't it sad that despite my AWESOME power point, here i find myself sitting at home babysitting the girls while my parents are in disney world, constantly sending me pictures of amazing disney things? how rude. They're just rubbing it in.
(and elissa i do agree :) there is that certain somebody in new york but i'm pretty sure i'd die if i actually saw him..so maybe disney would be a better bet haha)
